Job Description
- Manage all technical aspects of civil engineering projects.
- Govern the integration of projects from conception to completion.
- Oversee work on structures, roads, and buildings.
- Provide oversight for engineering teams.
- Develop working drawings and other documentation.
- Develop, review, and approve specifications for projects.
- Perform inspections.
- Manage project budgets.
- Manage project budgets and schedules, including reviewing subcontractor bids, setting project milestones, and establishing realistic budgets.
- Plan and conduct field investigations, surveys, and data collection, such as building records, field investigations, and topographic surveys.
- Develop and document design concepts, including site/civil engineering plans, specifications, and cost estimates.
- Develop and document detailed engineering design deliverables, including site/civil engineering plans, specifications, and cost estimates.
- Manage construction contracts including change orders, liquidated damages, and warranty claims.
- Manage project schedules and budgets, including reviewing subcontractor bids, setting project milestones, and establishing realistic budgets.
