We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Principal Software Quality Assurance Engineer- Banking to join our dynamic and innovative team. This role involves responsibilities that encompass designing, developing, and maintaining both manual and automated test scripts for our software products. As a Principal Quality Assurance, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the high quality and reliability of our software solutions.
What you will be doing:
- Creating, designing, and executing efficient test cases to provide good coverage mostly for UI / API automation testing.
- Performing diverse types of tests in projects when needed manual black box, user interface, regression, functional or integration testing.
- Responsible for maintaining test cases of new features, bugs, and technical features.
- Reviewing and providing feedback for test scripts and failed scenarios.
- Reporting test progress and status.
- Learning new technologies and applying projects as needed.
- Contributing to test automation framework when required.
- Identify and report risks associated with output quality and testing. Proactively investigate failed test cases and work with the development team to troubleshoot and resolve issues.
- Oversee the creation and maintenance of the RTM to ensure all functional and non-functional requirements are mapped to corresponding test cases.
- Ensure test coverage is comprehensive and meets all project requirements.
What we are looking for:
- Overall, 8+ years of experience out of which 5+ years of experience in manual testing and 3+ years of experience in test automation, including designing and implementing automated test frameworks and scripts.
- Experience in Banking and/or Fintech application testing space.
- Experience with Selenium or Katalon test automation suites.
- Experience in preparing test automation strategies and test plans.
- Excellent analytic and problem-solving skills.
- Fluent in English in both verbal and written communication.
Preferred:
- ISTQB certification is a plus.
- Experience in the lifecycle loan process for Retail, Corporate, or Commercial sectors is a plus.
