The primary task of the RAMS/LCC engineer is to plan and carry out the necessary activities within the bid and project to ensure that the RAM/LCC requirements and data are communicated and incorporated into the design.
Define and transmit RAMS/LCC requirements to sub-supplier when applicable. Review sub-supplier RAMS/LCC performance.
Collect and analyze field data and give feedback to relevant functions. If necessary update generic RAMS data based on specific field data.
Review and approve RAMS/LCC reports.
Preferred candidate profile
Familiar with EN50126, EN 45545, NFPA, MIL Standards
Solid understanding of reliability engineering principles and methodologies.
Experience in Life Cycle Costing methodologies and tools
Familiarity with risk assessment techniques and safety standards.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting.
Familiarity with software for failure data analysis and modelling
Strong communication and presentation skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
Detail-oriented with strong documentation and report writing skills.
Excellent time management and organizational skills.
