Job Description
ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES FOR PROJECT MANAGER
1. Planning and defining the scope of engineering projects
2. Developing detailed project plans, including resources, timeline, and budget
3. Overseeing the coordination and execution of engineering projects
4. Identifying project risks and developing risk mitigation strategies
5. Managing project teams of engineers and technicians
6. Liaising with stakeholders, including clients, engineers, and suppliers
7. Ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards 8. Reviewing and approving project designs and deliverables
9. Preparing and presenting project updates and progress reports to stakeholders
10. Ensuring compliance with industry safety and quality standards
11. Maintaining detailed project documentation and handling any project changes or issues that arise
Responsibilities
1. Plan and manage all aspects of engineering projects from conceptualization to completion
2. Establish project objectives, policies, procedures and performance standards
3. Develop and manage project budgets and schedules
4. Coordinate and direct construction workers and subcontractors
5. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and building codes
6. Review and approve project designs and reports
7. Manage project resources and liaise with stakeholders
8. Track project performance and make necessary corrections
9. Prepare and present reports on project progress
10. Manage risks and resolve any project issues
Qualifications
1. Proven work experience as an Engineering Project Manager
2. Strong understanding of engineering principles and practices
3. Proficiency in project management software tools
4. Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills
5. Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
6. Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
7. BE (Civil), B.Tech (Structures) or B.Arch degree in Engineering or relevant field
8. Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is a plus
9. Fluent Communication in Mandarin is essential.
