Job Description

Job Summary:

The Quantity Surveyor is responsible for managing all aspects of the contractual and financial side of construction projects. The role includes cost estimation, budget management, and contract administration to ensure projects are completed within financial and legal guidelines.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare tender and contract documents, including bills of quantities.
Conduct cost analysis for construction projects.
Monitor project budgets and track project progress.
Prepare and analyze project costings for tenders.
Negotiate contracts and work schedules with subcontractors.
Value completed work and arrange payments.
Ensure that all project costs are recorded and updated regularly.
Advise on a procurement strategy.
Assist in risk management and cost control.
Liaise with clients, contractors, subcontractors, and project managers.
