Role & responsibilities

Teqfocus is seeking a highly skilled Senior AWS Engineer to join our growing cloud engineering team. This role requires a deep understanding of AWS services, strong experience in API integrations, virtual machine (VM) orchestration, and expertise in AWS Connect. The ideal candidate will have a strong development background and a passion for scalable, automated cloud solutions.

Preferred candidate profile

• Education:
  Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  
• Experience:
  6+ years of experience in cloud infrastructure and solutions engineering, with a strong focus on AWS.
  
• Technical Skills:
  
• RESTful API development and integration
  
• Amazon Connect (flows, queues, routing, Contact Lens)
  
• AWS services: EC2, Lambda, IAM, CloudWatch, S3, CloudFormation
  
• Proficiency in scripting for automation and orchestration (Python, Node.js, or Shell)
  
• Version control with Git
  
• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies
  
• Communication:
  Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  
• Certifications (Preferred):
  
• AWS Certified Solutions Architect Associate/Professional
  
• AWS Certified DevOps Engineer
  
• AWS Certified Advanced Networking or Security Specialty
