Job Role : SAM L2
Play a crucial role in managing and tracking the organization's physical IT assets throughout their lifecycle, from acquisition to disposal. Their responsibilities encompass maintaining accurate inventory records, ensuring assets are correctly allocated and returned, conducting regular audits for compliance and accuracy, and managing the end-of-life process for hardware. Essential skills include proficiency with inventory management systems, a thorough understanding of hardware technologies, effective organizational and planning capabilities, and strong communication skills for coordinating between vendors, IT teams, and other departments. Typically, these roles require a bachelors degree in IT, Business Administration, or a related field, along with 3-5 years of experience in asset management or a similar area. Asset Coordinators must also excel in analytical thinking, problem-solving, and possess the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
