Job Description
Sr. Network Engineer
Duration: 12 months
Location: Remote.
Notes:
Whole first paragraph of JD is what they need, for Eagle this is not deployment, they are looking for operational BAU(business as usual) support, changes, troubleshooting, diagrams, need experience with cloud networking - public and private, vulnerability remediation is big too, need Palo alto networking, need to know Palo firewalls, F5's LTM Senior level people, professional attitude, CCIE (dont need, but that level of personality, polished) One interview with Kei and Brian
Job Description:
Use available network resources and toolsets to ensure optimal performance and reliability of the network infrastructure. Implement changes, document, and provide support for network connectivity solutions that span multiple products, such as routers, switches, firewalls, load-balancers, proxies, and DNS including private/public cloud connectivity. Lead the troubleshooting and resolution of complex problems and address the underlying technical issues. Work and communicate effectively with business and IT stakeholders.
Key Job Responsibilities:
- Provide support and manage the bank network infrastructure components such as router, switches, firewalls, web proxies, load-balancers and DNS.
- Maximize the use of toolsets to identify technical issues and performance problems on any type of media resources.
- Resolve faults and failures. Lead root cause analysis and apply necessary solutions.
- Act as point of contact for internal and external stakeholders for any technical type of queries.
- Remediate vulnerabilities across a wide range of Network Technology services.
Required Qualifications:
- Extensive hands-on network implementation and troubleshooting experience.
- Hands-on experience with network monitoring, diagnostic and analytics tools.
- Solid understanding with Palo Alto firewalls.
- Solid understanding with BGP routing protocols.
- Cisco CCNP or equivalent knowledge.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Broad understanding of industry technology standards.
- Willingness to learn new technologies.
