As a member of the Finastra QA team for Fusion Corporate Channels your responsibilities will include but are not limited to
Responsible for analysing requirements as per functional, customer flows and technical specifications.
To develop and review test cases including end to end work flows with corresponding back office systems.
Ability to work independently in a fast paced environment with dynamically changing requirements
Design and implement test strategy for each deliverable, based on business requirements with a thorough understanding of existing features.
Do test execution and maintain test environment and test data in HP Quality Centre.
Report software issues, work closely with the development team to fix them and validate provided solutions. Co-ordination with Development, Customer Support and Product Management teams is a must.
Provide feedback on the quality of the project/product through meetings, testing progress reports and communication with the project team/ stakeholders
From a quality assurance perspective support the client s software usage in production
Act as a software quality advocate throughout development, testing, delivery and implementation phases of software development lifecycle
The Required Skills, Knowledge & Experience
The role reports into QA Lead
Must have first class Bachelor s degree in Engineering or Masters in Computers from an accredited college/ university
5-8 years of experience in testing enterprise class applications in product development environment preferably banking products.
Testing experience on J2EE based web applications preferably in corporate banking domain ( core banking / corporate banking / Trade finance ).
Knowledge on testing REST APIs/WebServices a plus
Knowledge on database testing
Ability to understand & analyse the complete requirements and write effective test cases.
Ability to proactively identify the issues at the earlier cycles of development & testing.
Excellent verbal, written communication skills and interpersonal skills
Should have Can Do attitude
Experience in deploying the builds and maintaining the QA VMs is an added advantage
