Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Drive field-mapping teams to and from remote or urban project sites using Bolero, SUVs, or similar heavy vehicles.
Ensure the safe transport of survey equipment, GIS tools, and sensitive mapping instruments.
Maintain cleanliness and operational efficiency of the assigned vehicle.
Follow field travel plans and adapt to unstructured terrains (off-roading, rural roads, etc.).
Monitor and manage fuel, mileage logs, and basic vehicle service records.
Coordinate with the field supervisor or GIS team lead for route planning and project schedules.
Comply with all traffic rules, company policies, and safety standards.

Requirements:

Valid HMV or LMV license (depending on vehicle category).
25 years of experience driving SUVs/Bolero or similar field vehicles.
Prior experience in supporting GIS, land survey, or infrastructure projects is preferred.
Knowledge of basic vehicle maintenance and troubleshooting.
Willingness to travel extensively and work in remote/rural areas.
Physically fit and able to assist with light equipment loading/unloading when required.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in mapping/GIS or government land survey projects.
Familiarity with GPS navigation and route tracking apps.
Basic understanding of Hindi/English/local language as per location.
