Job Description

- Design and implement data architecture strategies for large-scale and complex datasets.
- Develop data models for databases, data warehouses, and data lakes.
- Define data standards, policies, and procedures for data management and governance.
- Evaluate and select appropriate technologies and tools for data storage, processing, and analysis.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate data solutions into business processes and applications.
- Optimize and refactor existing data architecture to improve performance, scalability, and reliability.
- Ensure data quality and integrity through validation, testing, and documentation.
- Implement security and encryption measures to protect data.
- Monitor and troubleshoot data architecture issues and performance bottlenecks.
- Bachelor s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Proven work experience as a Data Architect or similar role.
- Strong understanding of database management systems, data warehousing, and ETL processes.
- Proficiency in database design and data modelling (relational and non-relational databases).
- Experience with cloud platforms and services (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
- Familiarity with big data technologies (e.g., Hadoop, Spark, Kafka).
- Knowledge of data governance and compliance standards.
- Ability to evaluate and recommend appropriate data solutions and technologies.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Master s degree in computer science, Data Science, or a related field.
- Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
- Knowledge of machine learning and AI concepts.
- Certification in data management or architecture (e.g., CDMP, DAMA).
- Experience with agile development methodologies.
