Job Title: Production Support Engineer
Experience Required: 3+ Years
Shift Timing: 5:00 PM to 2:00 AM IST (EST Shift)
Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Production Support Engineer withat least 3 years of experience in Production Support projects. The idealcandidate should be comfortable working in a dynamic, fast-paced environmentand have experience with monitoring and support tools such as ServiceNow, JIRA,DataDog, Splunk, or similar. The role requires strong problem-solving skills,effective communication, and the ability to work collaboratively with otherteams to ensure the seamless operation of production systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide production support by monitoring and troubleshooting application performance and incidents.
- Utilize ServiceNow, JIRA, and support tools to manage and track incidents, requests, and changes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve production issues efficiently and effectively.
- Proactively monitor system alerts and resolve any production-related incidents within established SLAs.
- Participate in root cause analysis and provide resolutions to minimize system downtimes.
- Maintain and improve operational processes to ensure high system uptime and availability.
- Document all incidents and troubleshooting steps taken for future reference.
- Work with DataDog, Splunk, and similar tools for system monitoring, log analysis, and incident resolution.
- Collaborate with internal teams for continuous system improvements and feature rollouts.
- Provide periodic and ad-hoc reports on production system health and performance.
RequirementsQualifications:
- 3+ years of experience in Production Support or related roles.
- Hands-on experience with ServiceNow, JIRA, and other support tools.
- Knowledge of monitoring and log analysis tools such as DataDog, Splunk, or similar.
- Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to handle high-pressure situations and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Willingness to work in the EST shift (5:00 PM to 2:00 AM IST).
