We are working on highly ambitious transformation of our services to automate information extraction using Computer Vision and Machine Learning techniques from structured and unstructured content. We will also build new services to enrich catalog metadata using automated inference of descriptive texts, inappropriate metadata identification and augmentation with external data and signals. You advice Software Development Managers, Sr. Software Managers, Product Managers and other Engineers on product architecture and technical solves. You provide the architectural and technical vision for the Product / Service and lead the team technically towards the vision. You evaluate multiple technical choices and make right trade-off between short term needs and long term requirements. You mentor team members and raise the bar on high standards with your reviews of their artifacts. You are hands-on and take up development of complex pieces of the architecture and write exemplary code that raises the bar on coding standards and best practices. - 5+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
- 5+ years of programming with at least one software programming language experience
- 5+ years of leading design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
- Experience as a mentor, tech lead or leading an engineering team - 5+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience
- Bachelors degree in computer science or equivalent
