Job Description

Role: - ETL Testing

Experience: - 4+ Years

Work Location: - Hyderabad (Hybrid)

Shift Timing: - 3 PM to 12 AM

Job Proifle: -

We are seeking a detail-oriented and technically skilled ETL / Fivetran Data Pipeline Tester to validate and ensure data accuracy, integrity, and performance across modern data pipelines. The role will focus on testing integrations involving Fivetran connectors and Snowflake data warehouse, ensuring end-to-end data consistency from source systems to reporting layers.

Strong command over SQL (joins, aggregates, window functions)
Familiarity with data quality validation, data profiling, and data integrity checks
Hands-on experience with Fivetran connectors and understanding of CDC/incremental syncs

Roles & Responsibilities:

Validate data pipelines built using Fivetran for various source systems (e.g., NetSuite, Excel, Salesforce, S3, Navan, etc).
Conduct end-to-end data validation from source to Snowflake, including schema, data type, and row-level validations.
Perform incremental load testing, CDC validation, and schema drift assessments.
Write and execute complex SQL queries for data comparison and transformation validation in Snowflake.
Collaborate with developers, data engineers, and business analysts to understand
requirements and test cases.
Monitor and troubleshoot issues in Fivetran connector syncs using logs and dashboard insights.
Validate data transformation logic using DBT or other transformation frameworks (if required).
Document test cases, test results, and defect reports using tools like JIRA, Azure DevOps.

Other Specifications:

4 to 7 years of ETL/data warehouse testing experience
Hands-on experience with Fivetran connectors and understanding of DC/incremental syncs
Strong command over SQL (joins, aggregates, window functions)
Experience with Snowflake or similar cloud data warehouse platforms
Experience with API testing (for Fivetran APIs or downstream apps)
Familiarity with data quality validation, data profiling, and data integrity checks
Understanding of ELT pipelines, schema mapping, and data transformation rules
Experience with defect management and test documentation tools
Familiarity with BI tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) for validating reporting layer data.
