Responsible for monitoring and troubleshooting in heterogeneous Unix environment by meeting Customer expectations & build service deliverables that meet SLA.
RESPONSIBILITIES Enterprise Level experience in Production Environment (24X7 support exposure) Manage RedHat Enterprise Linux and HPUX with excellent Troubleshooting skills in a heterogeneous Unix environment. Troubleshoot Hardware and software issues. LVM administration and user management Good Experience on handling Performance, disk space related issues on OS. Real-time monitoring and resolving OS alerts using Zabbix tool. Basic knowledge on Cloud Computing - AWS. Log and manage Incidents/Change Order/Service Request through ServiceNow tool. Must have Remote System administration skills. Good Knowledge of Scripting (Shell) at Enterprise level supporting System Admin activities Good understanding of enterprise level Tools & ITIL processes like Change Management, Incident management. Good Understanding of UNIX OS virtualization is a MUST Manage and lead root cause analysis, lessons learned and prevention processes to provide high standard deliverables that meet SLA (Service Level Adherence) and ensure CSAT (Customer Satisfaction). Excellent written, verbal communication and Interpersonal skills. Take ownership of user incidents/requests and follow up the status on behalf of the user and communicate progress in a timely manner.
