Job Description

Role & responsibilities

• Install, configure, upgrade, and patch Oracle databases (12c/19c).
• Monitor database performance, tune SQL queries, and optimize resources.
• Perform regular database backups and recovery using RMAN/Data Pump.
• Manage database security, roles, and user access.
• Implement and manage high-availability features like Data Guard, RAC, and ASM.
• Perform database cloning, refreshes, and migrations.
• Automate routine DBA tasks using scripts or tools.
• Work closely with developers and application teams for performance tuning and query optimization.
• Maintain documentation for database configurations and procedures.
