Senior Software Engineer @ Goavega Software India

The .NET Senior Software Engineer will be responsible for designing, developing, and delivering robust, scalable, and high-performance applications using the Microsoft .NET platform and Azure cloud services. This role combines hands-on software engineering expertise with technical leadership, guiding a team of developers through the full software development lifecycle. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong architectural insight, a deep understanding of cloud-native development, and a commitment to software engineering best practice

Key Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and maintain web-based applications using C#, .NET Core/.NET 5+, and ASP.NET.

Lead the technical delivery of projects, including architecture decisions and solution implementation.

Collaborate with architects, product owners, and stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions.

Provide mentorship, code reviews, and technical guidance to junior developers.

Build and integrate solutions using Azure services

Ensure performance, security, scalability, and maintainability of applications.

Participate in Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, retrospectives, and daily stand-ups.

Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues across the full stack.

Required Qualifications:

4-5 years of hands-on experience in .NET development.

Strong proficiency in C#, ASP.NET MVC/Core and LINQ.

Experience with front-end technologies like HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and a modern framework (Angular).

Experience working with relational databases (SQL Server) and ORM tools like Entity Framework.

Knowledge of RESTful services and design patterns.

Hands on with Azure services and cloud-based development.

Strong debugging, troubleshooting, and performance tuning skills.

Excellent communication and team collaboration abilities.
