We are looking for Sr Site Reliability Engineer (Devops / Linux) for our client office in Hyderabad .

A Reliability Engineer will have a keen interest in data and numbers, often collecting and analysing key data metrics from processes or components. From here, they can create statistical analysis, charts, drawings, and reports to help illustrate and showcase potential issues within a product lifecycle or business process and how to improve it.
Many of these issues involve taking a macro look at other factors and helping businesses make the best decisions.

- Identifying and reporting on potential failures within a process
- Designing new systems
- Applying general engineering knowledge to solve problems
- Performing tests and analysis
- Check new systems or installations
- Work closely with budgets and finances to help reduce costs
- Conduct routine engineering calculations
- Liaise with relevant teams on outcomes of tests/analysis
THE JD is as follows-
Understand high level components of platform and support internal and external clients for
any issues
* Work supporting regular operations and engineering to make the platform more stable and
build automation to reduce toil
* Capability of full stack developer to analyze and debug complex issue across tiers from frontend to midtier
to infrastructure
* Partner with engineering team to ensure that applications are designed with operability & scale in mind
* Participate in the evaluation of new software, automation, and infrastructure solutions
* Identification of top errors, reliability issues and driving root cause to avoid repeat of incidents
* Serve as an escalation point for production issues during shift or as required
What you'll need:
* 5- 10 years of experience in Operations and/or Development teams
* Programming experience (Python/Java/Go/C/shell)
* Good understanding of standard networking protocol and security concerns (SSL, VPN, VPC)
* Experience with monitoring and data analysis tool like Nagios, Prometheus, DataDog etc.
* Strong knowledge of Linux systems and internals
* Debugging and troubleshooting skills using tools such as strace, tcpdump, wireshark, auditd, gdb
* Exposure to cloud platform e.g. AWS
* Working knowledge of application servers, servlet containers, and web server
* Good communication & collaboration skills and attention to details
Required Candidate profile
Should be willing to work on rotational shifts (Morning/Afternoon/Night Shifts) and/or provide weekend support ( 5 day Working Week )
Role
-Working cooperatively in a team of engineers and program managers.
-Supporting the existing code base and diagnosing support issues.
-Participating in daily stand-up meetings.
Skills and Qualifications:
-Bachelors degree in Computer Science or a related technical field. from a repute dcollege/ institution
-Top-notch analytical and problem-solving skills.
