IT Support Senior

Job Description Basic Functions/Job Responsibility:
To have a better understanding of the products, you will be provided with hands-on training and testing for about 3 months. This will include OS installation, software setup, database setup and configuration, hardware configuration (setup would be provided by Field Engineers),functionality demonstration and testing. Apart from this, hands-on training on all currently known error scenarios of the product, from the troubleshooting perspective will be provided.
Job Responsibility (Divided in 4 heads) about 70%) includes following : you need to provide support to our Linux based products for security using i.e: Under Vehicle Scanner System (UVSS), License plate reading system(LPRS), Traffic monitoring system and Xray-Baggage scanner. These products are combination of various hardware (i.e. camera, sensor, PCI/e cards, camera cards etc.) along with Software.
- After above training, you need to provide support to the client over phone or by remote access of the system (as desired) for both hardware and software related problem. Most of the time KSS field engineers would be at site, but in some scenarios it might be the operator directly.
2.On-site support (about 10%) includes following:
- Need to go on site for testing and implementation of large project
- Demonstrate the functionality of the product.
- Integration with client s/w.
- System observation
3.Office Infra (about 10-15%) includes following:
- Handle day to day IT related user problem, like e-mails, PC and other IT related issues, software upgrades, etc.
4.Installation and Testing (10-15%) includes following
- Testing of new software features/upgraded versions within office premises or on site
- Installation and dispatch of the product from either corporate office or the manufacturing unit (outstation) (in case of large orders or technical requirements).
