Job Description
RWS is seeking to appoint a Cloud Operations Business Process Engineer who will be responsible for business process documentation & design processes for RWS Cloud Operations. The role will involve liaising with other functional and business professionals across the RWS community.
Key Responsibilities
- Working closely with respective business functions to understand and document business processes
- JIRA, MS Visio and Microsoft Office suite for design, analysis and reporting purpose
- Design new processes for the organization and contributing towards solving process-related challenges that the organization may encounter.
- Create detailed process documentation, including flowcharts, diagrams, and standard operating procedures.
- Map out any existing process in the organization and design new ones towards improving business process.
- Define process documentation standards & guidelines and ensure teams adherence to the same
- Analyse information, collecting data, researching processes, and holding meetings
- Identify process gaps and opportunities to standardize and improve processes
- Oversee process documentation, perform quality review of work completed and ensure adherence to process guidelines
- Training personnel on business processes
- Process audit and compliance
- Work on implementation of organizational certificates when required with collaboration of other departments
Skills & Experience
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English and able to deliver presentations.
- Highly organised with a well-structured work ethic and methodical as well as analytical.
- An excellent relationship builder and maintainer with stakeholders and customers.
- A flexible attitude to work, some unsociable hours may be required due to the global nature of the team.
- Attention to detail and task oriented with strong analytical and numerical skills
- Ability to interact successfully with all levels of the organisation
- Good listener with ability to apply knowledge and understanding to the problem at hand
- Experience working in a commercial hosted/data centre environment. Experience of fast-moving technology business beneficial
- Experience of working to deadlines and strong delivery focus and results orientation
- Bachelors degree in business administration or a related field. Relevant certifications (e.g., Six Sigma, Lean) a plus
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in business process engineering, process improvement, or a related role.
- ITIL v4 knowledge and experience utilising this in a role including at least ITIL foundation certification. ITIL / ITSM Intermediate knowledge preferred
- Advanced Microsoft Office e.g. PowerPoint, Excel and JIRA. ServiceNow exposure/experience a plus.
- Experience in designing business processes for organization
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and project management skills. Ability to work collaboratively with diverse, geographically spread teams.
