About the Role

We are looking for a high-performing Senior Sales Manager to lead and grow our Government and Enterprise Business vertical, focusing on IT solutions, system integration, cyber security and network infrastructure projects. The ideal candidate is an experienced and strategic sales professional with a strong track record of driving revenue growth, managing large-scale government or enterprise accounts, and delivering integrated technology solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Business Development & Sales Strategy
    • Identify and pursue new business opportunities in government departments, PSUs, and large enterprises.
    • Develop and execute go-to-market plans for technology and network integration solutions.
    • Build strategic relationships with key decision-makers in ministries, state nodal agencies, enterprise and public sector undertakings.
  • Account Management
    • Own end-to-end sales cycles from lead generation, proposal building, bidding (RFP/RFQ), negotiations to closure.
    • Manage key accounts, ensure long-term customer satisfaction, and drive repeat business.
    • Collaborate with pre-sales, solution architects, and delivery teams to align client needs with Aksentts offerings.
  • Revenue & Target Achievement
    • Deliver on assigned sales targets, gross margins, and business growth objectives.
    • Monitor market trends, competitor moves, and pricing strategies to maintain a competitive edge.
  • Stakeholder Engagement
    • Engage with internal leadership and cross-functional teams to build winning proposals.
    • Represent the company at industry forums, government meetings, and networking events.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Experience: Minimum 10 years in B2B technology sales, with at least 5 years in selling to Government or Enterprise sectors.
  • Industry Knowledge: Proven experience in IT infrastructure, system integration, data centre, telecom, or networking services.
  • Network: Strong working relationships with Government IT departments (State/Central), NIC, MahaIT, BSNL, BBNL,PSU and Private Banks, large corporates or similar agencies.
  • Skills:
    • Excellent consultative selling and negotiation skills
    • Strong business acumen with a solution-oriented mindset
    • Ability to manage complex sales cycles and multiple stakeholders
    • Proficiency in proposal writing, bid management, and pricing strategy

Educational Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, IT, or related field (preferred: Electronics, Telecom, or Computer Science)
  • MBA in Marketing/Sales/Business Development is a plus
