Technology Product Manager - Data Platform @ Booking Holdings

About the Role:

As a Tech Product Manager, youll work together with several product and engineering teams to understand their business flows and the current challenges of our developers. Using your experience and knowledge, you will focus on how to support our developers in their cloud journey and optimize our time to market for new features and services.

You will drive the product vision, direct strategic initiatives and the creation of product roadmaps in collaboration with your product teams and your main stakeholders.

What youll be doing:

• Define the product vision and roadmap for FinTech business units cloud journey and cloud products;
• Prioritization of your backlog to maximize the impact of your products;
• Drive the delivery of the product roadmap;
• Define OKRs, manage expectations, identify risks and drive mitigations;
• Work closely with developers, SREs, product & engineering teams, (Senior) Engineering Managers and directors to gather new requirements, create solutions, plan deliveries, and drive the adoption;
• Perform external market analysis (e.g., commercial and open source) to evaluate emerging trends, technologies, and practices to make buy vs build decisions;

What youll bring:

• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS is a bonus), microservices, and complex systems in production, at scale;
• 3+ years of (technical) Product Management experience in an Engineering, Technology Strategy role or Developer Advocate role;

• Ability to define the ideal cloud journey for FinTech use-cases and products and set a realistic plan with a clear prioritization;
• Understanding of the available cloud products with pros and cons and their usage according to user needs;
• Willingness to learn new technologies and apply existing and new technical knowledge constantly.
