Job Description
Responsibilities:
- 9+ years of leading the definition and development of software experience.
- Knowledge of engineering practices and patterns for the full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, certification, and live site operations.
- Experience in communicating with users, other technical teams, and senior leadership to collect requirements, describe software product features, technical designs, and product strategy.
- Experience in recruiting, hiring, mentoring/coaching, and managing teams of Software Engineers to improve their skills, and make them more effective, product software engineers.
- Oversee projects and provide technical leadership to team members through hands-on software development, coaching, and mentoring.
- Understand challenges and recommend solutions that allow the business to achieve its goals; become an expert on internal procedures and business processes.
- Identify gaps in requirements and current capabilities while recommending system and process enhancements.
- Engage with and present to a wide variety of audiences, ranging from individual contributors and teams to senior leadership.
Technical expertise:
- Proven experience as a Full Stack Developer with a strong focus on .NET technologies (.NET 8+)
- Experience with front-end frameworks such as React and others.
- Knowledge of cloud platforms (e.g., Azure, AWS) and their services.
- Understanding and work experience with databases (Redis Cache, SQL, Influx)
- Strong understanding of APIs and web services (GraphQL, REST).
- Proficient in database technologies (SQL, NoSQL).
- Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Nice to have:
- UI/UX design and implementation experience
- Familiarity with IoT protocols and standards (e.g., MQTT).
- Experience with microservices architecture.
- Knowledge of containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Understanding and work experience with messaging services (RabbitMQ, Kafka, Event Bus)
- Knowledge on data lake, data mesh, snowflake etc.
- Experience with OAuth2, Identity services, AD
- Experience with machine learning and data analytics.
- Test driven development (TTD), unit testing and test automation.
- Experience from Mining and construction industry or related.
