Job Description Housekeeper (Deck, Night and Crew and Public Area)
Standard Role Summary:
Responsible for managing the housekeeping and presentation of passenger, officer and crew public areas and officer and crew accommodation, ensuring high levels of cleanliness.
Primary Responsibility of the Role:
Effectively manage own team in accordance with all company public health, hygiene and safety guidelines, complete appraisals identifying development opportunities and provide guidance, motivation and direction as required.
Identify improvements, continually striving to improve the service and increase CSQ scores. Effectively resolve issues or complaints in relation to own areas. Attend department briefings and meetings to maintain own knowledge and awareness of company policies and initiatives and brief own team accordingly.
Ensure the necessary rotas and work schedules are in place to meet the required level of service. Monitor and manage resources effectively, ensuring cleaning products and equipment are available when needed.
Carry out cabin checks ensuring the cleaning standards are at the required standards. Complete regular audit checks within the department and identify any fixtures or fittings in need of renewal / repair and maintenance requirements. Organize and prepare areas for maintenance activity to be carried out. Ensure all areas and cleaning equipment are maintained and in a sanitized and clean state at all times, undertaking regular inspections and implementing effective cleaning schedules.
Supervise the loading / offloading and the on board collection and distribution of passenger baggage.
Attend corporate sponsored social events as and when required.
