Role & responsibilities
Role Overview:
The Inside Sales BDE will be responsible for generating leads, nurturing client relationships, and closing sales for studio-based music services. This position requires a strong understanding of music production trends, excellent communication skills, and the ability to translate client needs into tailored studio offerings.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead Generation & Outreach
Identify potential clients such as artists, producers, brands, content creators, and agencies.
Use platforms like LinkedIn, Instagram, email, and industry networks to initiate contact.
Follow up on inquiries and convert leads into meetings or trials.
Client Engagement & Relationship Building
Understand client requirements for music composition, sound design, or live sound needs.
Present studio services and past work through decks, demos, or portfolio links.
Maintain long-term relationships with recurring clients and collaborators.
Sales & Conversion
Prepare proposals, pricing, and service packages based on client needs.
Negotiate and close deals in alignment with company goals.
Achieve monthly/quarterly sales targets and performance KPIs.
Market Intelligence
Track industry trends, competitor activity, and emerging music needs (e.g., reels, branded sound, influencer content).
Provide feedback to the creative and production teams for better market-fit services.
CRM & Reporting
Maintain an organized CRM database of all leads, communications, and sales stages.
Prepare weekly reports on outreach activity, pipeline progress, and deal closures.
Collaboration with Internal Teams
Work closely with production, sound engineers, and marketing teams to ensure smooth project handovers.
Assist in aligning sales messaging with the studios creative identity and capabilities.
