S&C Global Network - AI - Retail - Consultant - AI Retail Product Specialist

Knowledge of retail industry trends, consumer behavior analytics, and emerging AI technologies in the retail sector.

Develop and maintain AI models and algorithms that support inventory management, personalized shopping experiences, demand forecasting, pricing optimization, and customer segmentation.

Creation of process flows and diagrams for merchant's day in a life / Ability to interpret consumer behavior data and apply AI insights to optimize customer journeys, product recommendations, and personalized experiences.

Leverage AI to enhance the customer experience by delivering personalized recommendations, improving product discovery, and enhancing omnichannel retail strategies.

Good to have skills:

Familiarity with Agile methodologies and product management processes.

Ability to approach complex problems methodically, using AI and data-driven solutions to solve challenges in retail operations and customer experience.

Constantly thinking about how to innovate using AI to improve retail products, services, and customer satisfaction.

Experience with pre-built AI services from cloud providers (e.g., AWS AI services, Google AI, or Azure AI).

Job Summary:The AI Retail Product Specialist is responsible for developing, implementing, and optimizing AI-powered solutions that enhance retail product strategies. This includes working closely with cross-functional teams, analyzing consumer behavior data, and driving product innovations using AI technologies. The specialist will leverage AI tools to improve customer personalization, inventory management, sales forecasting, and the overall shopping experience in retail settings.Roles & Responsibilities:

Act as the bridge between business needs and technical solutions, overseeing the development and deployment of AI products.

Define the AI product roadmap and ensure that AI-driven initiatives align with business objectives.

Work with cross-functional teams to prioritize features and manage product releases.

Collaborate with product managers, data scientists, and IT teams to design, implement, and refine AI-driven retail solutions.

Focus on developing agentic experiences, where AI can assist or guide users through various tasks (e.g., chatbots, virtual assistants).

Analyze large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and insights related to customer preferences, product demand, and shopping behavior.

Monitor the performance of AI models and suggest data-driven improvements to enhance accuracy and effectiveness.

Support decision-making by delivering actionable insights to stakeholders regarding product assortments, pricing strategies, and promotional activities.

Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in AI technologies and retail industry trends.

Recommend and implement best practices for AI-based product development and deployment in a retail environment.

Professional & Technical Skills:

Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, or SQL.

Familiarity with AI frameworks and tools like TensorFlow, Keras, or PyTorch.

Experience with data analysis and visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Excel).
