About the RoleIn this opportunity as a Data Scientist, you will
Take the initiative to tackle new business problems and have the curiosity to explore large volumes of dataSeamlessly work with various business stakeholders, understand their individual needs and design custom solutionsHave the curiosity to interrogate data, conduct independent research, utilize various techniques to analyze it and, if need be, tackle ambiguous problems with maturityIs firmly grounded in their understanding of statistical concepts and machine learning necessary to build various models, algorithms etc.Is technically strong to design solutions and reports for managementWork well within a team and collaborate with colleagues across domains and geographiesLearn the business quicklyAbout YouYoure a fit for the role ofData Scientistif your background includes
Must have at least 2-4 years of experience working in the data science domainKnowledge of advanced statistical modelling, testing, data mining, and data science techniquesHas used modelling frameworks including Scikit-learn, PyTorch, and TensorFlowHighly proficient in Python and SQL (or any other querying language)Has advanced Excel and PowerPoint skillsExperience with Tableau and other data visualization tools would be great (but not necessary for the role)Strong logical and scientific approach to problem-solvingExcellent organizational, analytical and problem-solving skillsAbility to communicate complex results in a simple and concise manner at all levels within the organizationAbility to excel in a fast-paced, startup-like environmentHas experience building machine learning algorithms and implementing models in productionProficient at using Python or any other leading software/languagesKnowledge of querying languages like T-SQL and relational databasesConceptual understanding of Hadoop and cloud computing like AWSDemonstrated participation on platforms like Kaggle is a plusPrevious experience working on sales and marketing data is a plusExperience using Amazon Web services is a plusExperience with one or more of the following types of business analytics applications:Sentiment Analysis and Topic ModellingPredictive ModellingCustomer Segmentation / ProfilingDesigning & Implementing AI/LLM workflows, including prompt engineering Recommendation engines#LI-NG1
