We are seeking a talented and experienced Quality Analyst to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in software testing methodologies and a deep understanding of automation testing tools and frameworks. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and executing automated test scripts to ensure the quality and reliability of web, Android, and iOS applications.
Key Responsibilities: 1. Test Planning and Strategy:- Collaborate with development teams to understand product requirements and create comprehensive test plans and strategies.
- Identify test scenarios, test cases, and test data to ensure thorough coverage.
- Design and develop robust automation frameworks using industry-standard tools like Selenium, Appium, or other relevant frameworks.
- Maintain and enhance the automation frameworks to improve efficiency and reliability.
- Write, execute, and maintain automated test scripts for web, Android, and iOS applications.
- Analyse test results and identify defects, reporting them to the development team.
- Effectively track and manage defects using bug-tracking tools.
- Provide clear and concise defect reports with detailed steps to reproduce.
- Conduct performance testing to assess the system s response time, scalability, and stability under various load conditions.
- Analyse performance metrics and identify bottlenecks.
- Integrate automated tests into the CI/CD pipeline to ensure timely and reliable releases.
- Collaborate with the development team to automate the testing process.
- 3 + years of Strong understanding in software testing methodologies (e.g., black-box, white-box, gray-box testing)
- Proficiency in automation testing tools and frameworks (Selenium, Appium, JUnit, TestNG, etc.)
- Experience in programming languages (Java, Python, etc.)
- Knowledge of mobile testing frameworks (Appium, Espresso, XCUITest)
- Experience with API testing tools (Postman, REST-Assured)
- Familiarity with performance testing tools (JMeter, LoadRunner)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience with cloud-based testing platforms (AWS Device Farm, Sauce Labs)
- Knowledge of scripting languages (Bash, PowerShell)
- Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, CircleCI, GitLab CI/CD)
- Certification in software testing (preferred)
