Your role is to help build a scalable analytics platform to perform real-time data analytics to predict customer behaviour.
This will involve a deep understanding of consumer behaviour, psychology, and the latest Open Source tools that can be put to work on structured and unstructured data to understand and predict behaviour.
Ideally you should have worked in domains like customer segmentation, customer propensity, customer communication.
Skills Required
Deep understanding of technology and major trends including Hadoop, Python, R
Experience with Apache NiFi, Pandas is a plus
Understanding of data mining technologies, like clustering, graph analysis, regressions and statistical analysis
Understanding of customer behaviour
Knowledge of working with, managing, cleaning, organizing large data sets
Understanding of Business, Business needs and identification and solving of unique business problems
Strong inter-personal skills and the ability to manage a high-energy, growth oriented work environment
Experience
Proven track record in building applications on R, Python to solve complex business problems
Worked with large data sets
Worked with global business problems and data sets in both structured and unstructured data
Education
PHD from IIT or Masters Degree from ISI
Competencies
Analytics, R, Hadoop, Map Reduce, Spark, Big Data, Data Cleaning,H2O/MLLIB, Data Scraping, Postgres or equivalent.
