Job Description

Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and support Data Scientists in analytical solution development and deployment.
- Apply machine learning algorithms such as Linear Regression, Logistic Regression, Decision Trees, Random Forest, XGBoost, and Gradient Boosting Machines (GBM).
- Perform statistical analysis using appropriate tests and distributions.
- Work with large datasets for data preparation, transformation, and analysis.
- Build and optimize models using Python and Microsoft Excel.
- Write and execute basic SQL queries for data extraction and validation.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business challenges and propose data-driven solutions.
- Leverage domain expertise, preferably in the Insurance industry, to enhance model relevance and effectiveness.
Required Skills:
- Strong understanding of machine learning algorithms and statistical modeling.
- Proficient in Python and Microsoft Excel.
- Basic working knowledge of SQL.
- Experience in data wrangling, exploratory data analysis, and model building.
- Knowledge of statistical concepts, distributions, and hypothesis testing.
- Prior experience in the Insurance domain is an advantage.
