AWS SQL Professional @ Diverse Lynx

Job Description

• Diverse Lynx is looking for AWS SQL Professional to join our dynamic team and embark on a rewarding career journey
• Database Administration:Administer and maintain SQL databases hosted on the AWS platform
• Ensure the availability, performance, and security of databases
• AWS Cloud Management:Design, deploy, and optimize SQL databases on AWS, leveraging services such as Amazon RDS, Amazon Aurora, or others
• Implement and manage database backups, snapshots, and recovery processes
• Performance Tuning:Conduct performance tuning activities to optimize SQL query performance and database responsiveness
• Monitor and analyze database performance metrics
• Security and Compliance:Implement and enforce security measures for SQL databases on AWS
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and AWS security best practices
• Backup and Recovery:Develop and implement backup and recovery strategies for SQL databases
• Conduct regular testing of backup and recovery processes
• Automation and Scripting:Develop automation scripts for routine database maintenance tasks using SQL scripts, AWS CLI, or other scripting languages
• Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) for database deployments
• Monitoring and Alerting:Set up monitoring and alerting systems to proactively identify and address database issues
• Respond to alerts and incidents promptly
• Collaboration with Development Teams:Collaborate with development teams to understand database requirements and optimize database design
• Assist in database schema design and modification
• Documentation:Create and maintain detailed documentation for database configurations, maintenance procedures, and troubleshooting guidelines
• Provide documentation for knowledge transfer and onboarding
• Technical Support:Provide technical support to internal teams for database-related issues
• Collaborate with AWS support when necessary to resolve complex technical challenges
