- Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain automated test scripts using Playwright and Python for web applications.
- Collaborate with development and QA teams to understand application functionality and create comprehensive test strategies.
- Design, implement, and execute end-to-end, regression, and performance tests to identify bugs and ensure application quality.
- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines to ensure continuous testing and fast feedback loops.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues identified during test execution and collaborate with developers to facilitate fixes.
- Perform cross-browser testing to ensure compatibility and consistency of the application across different environments.
- Report test results, raise defects, and track the progress of issues to resolution using issue-tracking tools.
- Continuously improve test automation frameworks, processes, and best practices.
- Contribute to documentation and knowledge sharing within the team.
- Candidate Profile: Required Skills & Qualification
- Hands-on experience with Playwright for browser automation.
- Proficiency in Python, including familiarity with test frameworks like pytest.
- Strong understanding of software testing methodologies (unit, integration, regression, functional, etc.).
- Experience working with web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript).
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools and version control systems (e.g., Git).
- Knowledge of API testing and testing tools like Postman or REST Assured is a plus.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
