Job Description
- Create high-quality 3D art assets for video games, including characters, environments, and props.
- Work collaboratively with game designers and programmers to ensure that assets are integrated into the game seamlessly.
- Create assets using 3D modeling and texturing software such as Blender, Maya, 3ds Max, and Photoshop.
- Incorporate feedback from senior artists to improve the assets.
- Follow established art style and technical guidelines.
- Continuously learn and stay current with the latest techniques and technologies in the industry.
- Participate in critique and review sessions to ensure high-quality assets are delivered.
- Report to senior artists to receive feedback, direction, and mentoring.
- Ensure all assets are delivered on schedule and meet technical requirements.
Qualifications:
- Strong portfolio of 3D art assets for video games
- Strong understanding of 3D modeling and texturing software such as Blender, Maya, 3ds Max, and Photoshop
- Strong knowledge of game development pipelines and workflows
- Strong knowledge of game art design principles and techniques
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work well in a team environment
- Strong communication skills and the ability to take direction and incorporate feedback
- Passion for video games and an understanding of the gaming industry
- Bachelor s degree in fine art, game development, or related field preferred
