Job Description
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather and understand their data and reporting requirements.
- Design and develop end-to-end Power BI solutions, including data modelling, dashboard creation, and report generation.
- Perform data analysis and identify key insights to support business decision-making processes.
- Create interactive visualizations, reports, and dashboards using Power BI to effectively communicate data-driven insights.
- Conduct data cleansing, transformation, and integration activities to ensure data accuracy and consistency within
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate Power BI solutions with existing systems and data sources.
- Provide training and support to end-users, empowering them to effectively utilize Power BI for their reporting and analytical needs.
- Stay up to date with the latest Power BI features, updates, and best practices to continuously improve and enhance the organization s Power BI capabilities.
- Assist in defining data governance and security standards for Power BI implementations.
- Participate in project planning, estimation, and prioritization activities to ensure timely and successful project delivery.
- Proficiency in Power BI: Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with Power BI, including data modelling, DAX queries, and Power Query transformations.
- Data Visualization and Reporting: Ability to create visually appealing and interactive reports and dashboards that effectively convey insights and drive data-driven decision-making.
- Data Analysis: Strong analytical skills with the ability to analyse complex data sets, identify trends, and derive meaningful insights.
- SQL and Database Knowledge: Proficient in SQL querying and experience working with relational databases to extract, transform, and load data into Power BI.
- Data Integration: Experience in integrating data from various sources into Power BI, including on-premises and cloud-based systems.
- Excellent Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively communicate with stakeholders at all levels and present complex technical concepts in a clear and concise manner.
- Problem-Solving Abilities: Demonstrated ability to identify and solve complex problems related to data modelling, data integration, and report generation using Power BI.
- Strong Analytical Thinking: Ability to think critically, analyse data, and provide data-driven insights and recommendations.
- Time Management and Organization: Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet project deadlines.
- Team Player: Collaborative mindset with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams and contribute to a positive team environment.
