Job Description
- Develop, maintain, and optimize SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) packages for ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes, ensuring accurate and efficient data extraction, transformation, and loading from various banking and credit card data sources.
- Design and implement SQL Server Analysis Services (SSAS) cubes and tabular models to provide multidimensional analysis and reporting capabilities for Power BI visual representation and industry best practices.
- Collaborate with stakeholders, including IT operations teams, to understand requirements related to data storage, processing, and reporting.
- Develop and maintain SQL queries, stored procedures, and views to support ad-hoc data analysis and reporting needs, ensuring data accuracy and integrity.
- Implement data governance practices and data quality controls to ensure compliance and internal policies.
- Participate in the development and maintenance of data dictionaries, metadata repositories, and data lineage documentation to facilitate data governance efforts.
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance to banking and credit card operations teams addressing any data-related issues or inquiries in a timely and efficient manner. Optimize the existing processes to ensure seamless orchestration of the workflows.
- Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum of 4-6 years of experience in SQL Server development, with a focus on SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) and SQL Server Analysis Services (SSAS).
- Proficiency in designing and developing SSIS packages for ETL processes, including data extraction, transformation, and loading from heterogeneous data sources.
- Experience in designing and implementing SSAS cubes and tabular models for multidimensional analysis and reporting purposes, preferably in the banking and financial services industry.
- Excellent knowledge of T-SQL programming, stored procedures, and database optimization techniques for managing and querying large volumes of banking and credit card data.
