Description:This role plays a critical part in assuring the quality and reliability of our software systems and applications. People in this role have a robust Computer Science background and demonstrated expertise in enhancing software quality.
Requirements:

Post-secondary degree in computer science, software engineering or related discipline, or equivalent work experience
2 to 4 years of experience in software quality assurance with an emphasis on automation testing
Familiarity with cloud-based testing environments, primarily AWS
Experience with Martech / CMS
Advanced scripting skills
Expertise in test automation frameworks such as JEST or similar
Proficiency in test automation tools such as Playwright or similar
Knowledge of test automation frameworks such as Artillery or JMeter
Knowledge of RESTful web services and database systems
Solid grasp of version control systems like Git
Comprehensive knowledge of software testing principles, techniques, and best practices
Proven ability to quickly learn & adapt independently
Excellent problem-solving skills & attention to detail
Strong communication & interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
Must be legally entitled to work in the country where the role is located
Preferred Qualifications
Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
Familiarity with agile software development methodologies and practices
Experience with performance and security testing considered an asset
Knowledge of financial or accounting software preferred
Expereince with AEM would be nice to have
Nice to have if having experience of Integration of Salesforce with CMS
Job Responsibilities:
Contribute to the design and implementation of test automation frameworks and strategies
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, product managers, and stakeholders, to identify test requirements
Design, develop, execute, and maintain automated tests to validate the functionality of our software products
Create comprehensive test plans and implement effective test strategies. Create test cases and test data based on functional and non-functional requirements
Identify, analyze, and document software defects, and track their resolution in an issue- tracking system
Conduct root cause analysis of defects and recommend process improvements
Work closely with development teams to investigate and resolve issues, ensuring the delivery of high-quality software
Stay up to date with industry best practices and emerging trends in quality assurance and test automation
Liaise with the product team to understand product changes and steer quality initiatives
Provide support during the deployment and maintenance stages of the software development life cycle
Mentor and provide guidance to junior QA team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement
