The Difference You Will Make
As Manager, Supply Quality, you will drive the implementation, improvement, and engagement on critical Host policies and standards
A Typical Day
Collaborate with the Host Policy and Standards team to understand and align on policy objectives, updates, and changes
Coordinate policy implementation efforts with operations teams, ensuring clarity, consistency, and compliance
Monitor and assess policy implementation progress, identifying challenges, and proposing solutions for improvement
Develop a deep understanding of policy requirements and implications to effectively communicate and explain policy decisions to senior executives
Analyze policy-related data and metrics to provide insights and recommendations for policy improvements and adjustments
Stay updated with industry trends, regulatory changes, and best practices to ensure Airbnb's policies remain effective and compliant
Establish and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders across different teams to foster collaboration and alignment
Your Expertise
Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, or equivalent practical experience
Total 12+ years of experience in product, project and operations management with 5+ years of experience in policy formulation and implementation
An ideal candidate needs to have a very strong understanding of policy development and implementation processes
Excellent executive presence, communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively communicate complex policies to diverse audiences
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to assess policy impact, identify issues, and propose solutions
Proven ability to collaborate and drive intended outcomes with cross-functional teams
Build relationships with and influence stakeholders across geographies
Familiarity with the short-term rental industry (or other network businesses)and/or experience working in a regulatory environment is a plus
Ability to adapt to a fast-paced, dynamic, and evolving work environment
