Working closely with product management, content authors and service team, the content acquisition team acts as the Cyncly world ambassador to collect content from various sources including commercial definition, pricing and graphical representation.
Ambassador of the content acquisition format, they are responsible for understanding the various formats used in the market including the various content definition used by Cyncly applications.
Understanding the various standards from the industry (e.g.: IDM), they formalize and transform the various content to provide a normalized rich representation of the content.
Mission
Content being key for the enterprise, the team is responsible for gathering all potential content from the industry and making it available in the content platform.
This group is responsible for building automated scalable pipelines of content based on various formats. Generic pipelines will support various standards from the industry but will also accommodate the various custom formats.
In addition to collecting various content, they represent the content platform in the field and gather new requirements in terms of content definition based on their learning and needs from the market.
Working in collaboration with various partners from in-house applications, retailers, and manufacturers, they capture all the richness of their content and expose all the potential of content platform capabilities.
To achieve the mission, one of the first objectives will be to collect ALL content from Cyncly applications.
Developer:
Reporting to the development Team Leader, the employee will bring a valuable collaboration in the system architecture, design pattern, programming and testing of the content acquisition services.
Technical leadership, strong interest in software quality and knowledge of the best practices regarding deployment to the cloud are expected from the employee.
In collaboration with other team members, the incumbent will work on challenging projects, integrating advanced web technologies. He will participate in the elaboration, analysis and functionality development of a state-of-the-art back-end web platform. The content acquisition is of the key components of the content platform which expose content as the foundation of many other products developed at Cyncly.
Roles and responsibilities:
Web development using a multi-tier architecture and Service Oriented Architecture.
Architecture and conception of services components.
Involved in automated deployment for internal builds and Cloud solution.
Search for the best applicable process or algorithms.
Participate in design reviews of services.
Use Test Driven Development process.
Meet the established development standard (security, performance).
Perform the duties according to timelines.

Qualifications:
College or bachelors degree in computer science or computer Engineering.
Minimum of seven (7) years of relevant experience in web programming.
Fluency in spoken and written English is required.

Required technical skills:
Proficiency in Back End Web technologies (Software as a Service).
Proficiency in C#, .Net, .Net core development.
Strong experience with Cloud infrastructure (Azure).
Experience with unit test framework.
Experience with defining architecture for large scales back end project (security, reliability, performance ).
Experience with protocols based on REST/JSON.
Development experience in Microsoft Visual Studio environment.
Knowledge of Databases (SQL, Document DB).
Experience with software source code management (GIT).
Proficiency at doing code review of peers.
