Job Description
Description:We are looking for API Engineers to design and implement robust, scalable, and secure APIs that support our data platforms integration with internal and external systems. You will focus on building high-performance, secure, and reliable RESTful APIs to support complex data flows within the organization.
Requirements:
3+ years of experience in API development, ideally within a data-driven or financial context.
Proficiency in API technologies (REST, GraphQL) and tools (Postman, Swagger).
Familiarity with data integration platforms like Kafka, Debezium.
Experience in designing secure, scalable, and high-performance APIs.
Strong proficiency in JavaScript, Python, or other backend languages.
Experience with cloud platforms and serverless architectures.
Job Responsibilities:
Design, implement, and maintain APIs that support both real-time and batch data flows.
Ensure that APIs are well-documented, secure, and performant.
Collaborate with front-end engineers and data engineers to integrate data APIs into various platform features.
Implement API security best practices (authentication, authorization, rate limiting, etc.).
Troubleshoot API performance issues and ensure minimal downtime.
Design APIs with scalability in mind to accommodate growing data volumes.
