React Lead Developer @ Globallogic

Job Description

About the Role
Were looking for a hands-on React Lead Developer to drive the front-end development of modern web applications. This role involves writing production-quality code, defining front-end architecture, mentoring team members, and collaborating across functions to deliver high-quality software.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development of scalable, modular React applications
  
• Make architectural decisions on front-end tooling, testing, and performance optimization
  
• Translate complex product requirements into clean, maintainable code
  
• Mentor and support junior and mid-level developers through code reviews and pair programming
  
• Collaborate with backend engineers to integrate APIs (REST/GraphQL)
  
• Contribute to sprint planning, design discussions, and technical documentation
  
• Ensure code quality through unit, integration, and end-to-end testing
  
• Stay updated on front-end trends and proactively introduce improvements
  

Technical Stack

• JavaScript (ES6+), TypeScript, React, Next.js
  
• State management with Redux, Zustand, or Context API
  
• Tooling: Webpack, Vite, Babel, ESLint, Prettier
  
• Testing: Jest, React Testing Library, Cypress
  
• Version control and CI/CD: Git, GitHub/GitLab, GitHub Actions/CircleCI
  
• Optional tools: TailwindCSS, Storybook, Figma, GraphQL
  

Requirements

• 6+ years of professional front-end development experience
  
• At least 3 years of deep, hands-on experience with React
  
• Strong understanding of component-based architecture, state management, and asynchronous data handling
  
• Experience leading or mentoring front-end teams
  
• Solid grasp of performance best practices and responsive UI design
  
• Strong communication and collaboration skills across engineering and product teams
  
• Bonus: Experience with SSR (e.g. Next.js), design systems, or micro frontends
