Skills required:

Developer with a strong background in Oracle Hyperion Essbase & any RDBMS

Role & responsibilities

• Lead technical analysis of existing Hyperion applications for migration planning
• Map Hyperion dimensions and hierarchies to SQL Server Analysis Services (SSAS)
• Convert Hyperion calculation scripts to equivalent SQL/MDX expressions
• Ensure data integrity during migration process
• Develop migration validation procedures
• Create parallel testing environments
• Document migration procedures and technical specifications
• Create technical and functional documentation
• Develop user training materials
• Document system configurations and changes

Skills Required:

• Expert in Hyperion Financial Management (HFM)
• Hyperion Planning
• Essbase
• Financial Reporting
• Smart View
• Hyperion Financial Data Quality Management (FDM/FDMEE)
• Some knowledge on SQL and PL/SQL
• VBScript/JavaScript

Skills- Desirable

• Understanding of financial concepts and accounting principles
• Knowledge of financial consolidation processes
