Job Description
- Create knowledgeable and engaging Shopify stores .
- Must have hands-on experience in developing multiple Shopify stores .
- Develop bespoke themes and modify pre-existing templates according to predefined company guidelines.
- Should be a professional in all areas of the E-commerce platform.
- Work with the UI and UX design teams to create an inventive, strong, and unique user experience.
- Ensure smooth integration with Shopify Apps, Marketing Tools, and Platform APIs.
- Must debug and test websites regularly to enhance performance.
- Provide coordination and technical support to protect the company against failure.
- Increase conversion rates by optimizing websites.
Essential Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or any other similar field.
- Must have expertise in maintenance, launch, and shop construction, and a general understanding of the admin system.
- Expert in JavaScript, DOM, CSS3, and HTML5 .
- Previous experience with Storefront API and custom theme development.
- Working knowledge of Liquid templating and Shopify s theming system.
- Experience in debugging or implementing 3rd-party Shopify applications and creating unique solutions when required.
- Expertise in jQuery and modern JavaScript frameworks.
- Working knowledge of Shopify properties or objects, Meta fields, and AJAX API .
- Possesses strong debugging and testing abilities using browser consoles and other tools.
- Ability to provide proactive feedback and interact effectively.
- Working knowledge of 3rd-party APIs, services, and Shopify plugins.
- Experience in creating responsive and unique layouts for mobile devices, tablets, and desktops.
