About the role:

Telstra Bangalore is looking out for Senior Software Engineer Java, as a senior technical expert in the team, the role:

The primary focus of this role is to provide software engineering technical expertise for O2A systems. As a senior technical expert in the team, the role:

Independently design, implement and deploy applications in a cloud environment through Agile best practices
Troubleshoot production incidents and defects and turn around fixes quickly
Participates in peer review of code
Upholds design and coding best practices and standards
Upholds DevOps best practices and standars
Ensures all infrastructure is applied as code
Understands the build and deployment pipelines and scripts and works towards optimizing them
Experince in Agile methodologies and tracking tools and workflows (JIRA)

To be successful in the role, you ll have:

• 8+ years of experience in delivery of technical components of large complex IT projects.

• Experience with Agile delivery methodologies and helping teams explore, adopt and optimize Agile/Lean processes, principles and practices.

• Design, implement, build, deploy, trouble shoot, cloud native software in a DevOps enviorment.
• Java (JDK 8 above), SpringBoot, Apigee, UnixLinux, Shell Scripting, Bamboo, AWS, Docker
