Role Overview:
As the Vice President, Sales - India , you will be a pivotal leader responsible for driving growth and market leadership in region. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, engage with key stakeholders, and execute strategies to expand PTCs presence, achieve revenue targets, and deliver exceptional value to customers, all while building a dynamic and winning culture.
Key Responsibilities:
Market Strategy and Expansion:
  • Formulate and execute a robust market expansion strategy aligned with PTCs global objectives .
  • Identify new market opportunities, trends, and customer needs to shape PTCs solutions and offerings.
  • Elevate PTCs brand presence and thought leadership in the India market.
Sales and Revenue Generation:
  • Drive revenue growth through your direct sales leadership and orchestrating strategic sales initiatives within your team and in partnership across the business.
  • Foster customer relationships, identify potential sales opportunities, and lead complex negotiations.
  • Expand PTCs customer base and deepen engagement with existing accounts.
Team Leadership and Development:
  • Lead and inspire a high-performing, cross-functional team, fostering a wining culture of innovation and collaboration.
  • Provide mentorship, guidance, and professional development opportunities to team m embers , conduct regular assessments and actively manage performance development.
  • L eading from the front driving team performance through proactive client engagement, strategic leadership, and relentless pursuit of revenue goal s.
Customer Relationships and Satisfaction:
  • Cultivate strong customer relationships at executive levels, ensuring customer satisfaction and retention.
  • Serve as a customer advocate, addressing concerns promptly and maintaining a high level of service.
Market Intelligence and Analysis:
  • Monitor industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging technologies to inform strategic decisions.
  • Provide actionable market insights to the leadership team, influencing strategic adjustments.
Operational Excellence:
  • Oversee operational functions, including budgeting, resource allocation, and performance tracking.
  • Collaborate across functions such as marketing, product management, and support to ensure seamless operations and customer support.
Qualifications and Experience:
  • Bachelors degree in Business , Engineering, or a related field .
  • Proven track record of successful leadership and sales within the software or technology sector ; ideally within a SaaS based business.
  • Deep understanding of industrial technology solutions and the ability to articulate technical concepts effectively.
  • Extensive experience in market expansion within the Indian market.
  • Outstanding communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Strategic thinker with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
  • Strong people management skills and a history of developing high-performing teams.
  • Collaborative mindset with the ability to work across geographies and functions.
  • Proficiency in English is required .
