Job Description

Pump Alignment, Piping Assembly & Hydrotesting

 

• Perform alignment of pumps with motors to ensure proper operation.

• Carry out piping assembly and installation as per layout drawings and specifications.

• Ensure correct pipe supports, hangers, and fittings are used as per design.

• Identify and work with different piping grades and classes (e.g., CS, SS, Alloy, etc.).

• Conduct hydrotesting of equipment, vessels, and piping systems to check for leaks and pressure integrity.

• Follow safety procedures and industry standards during alignment, assembly, and testing.

• Maintain records of test results and report any issues to supervisors.

• Work closely with engineers and QA/QC teams during testing and inspection.

• Use tools like dial gauges, laser alignment tools, pressure gauges, and pumps for testing and alignment.

• Understand isometric drawings, P&IDs, and piping specifications
