Job Description

Piping Engineer / Mechanical Engineer (Piping & Equipment):



Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and coordinate fabrication, installation, and testing of SS, UPVC, and PVC piping systems.

• Conduct and document hydrotesting of piping systems, pressure vessels, and equipment in accordance with relevant codes and standards.

• Interpret and apply piping material specifications, grades, and classes for procurement, fabrication, and installation.

• Read and analyze piping isometric drawings, P&IDs, and equipment layout drawings for planning and execution.

• Prepare and review welding and fabrication procedures to ensure compliance with engineering standards and project specifications.

• Ensure that all piping work is carried out according to project drawings, codes, and safety standards.

• Collaborate with QA/QC teams to inspect and verify material certification, weld quality, and hydrotest records.

• Coordinate with project managers, subcontractors, and other discipline engineers for seamless project execution.

• Monitor work progress and prepare daily and weekly progress reports.

• Ensure compliance with HSE (Health, Safety & Environment) standards during all site activities.
