Role Overview: Algoritt Consulting is looking for a Senior Consultant Model Risk to contribute to consulting projects for financial services clients, focusing on model risk management, model development, validation, and monitoring. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with credit risk, finance, and treasury management models and a strong understanding of regulatory requirements. This mid-level role provides opportunities to collaborate with senior consultants, engage with clients, and contribute to innovative model risk solutions. Key Responsibilities: Model Development & Monitoring: Assist in designing, implementing, and monitoring models to meet client needs and regulatory standards. Analyze model performance and recommend improvements. Model Validation: Conduct validations for credit risk models (e.g., CECL, PD/LGD, Roll Rate, Stress Testing) and finance models (e.g., ALM, liquidity, interest rate risk). Project Execution: Support project planning, execution, and delivery while ensuring high-quality outcomes that align with client objectives. Client Interaction: Collaborate with clients to understand their requirements, provide actionable insights, and ensure satisfaction with deliverables. Documentation & Reporting: Prepare clear and concise reports, presentations, and validation documentation. Industry Insights: Stay updated on regulatory requirements, industry trends, and emerging technologies to contribute to Algoritts service offerings. Qualifications: Education & Certifications: Advanced degree in Finance, Statistics, Financial Engineering, Economics, or a related field. Professional certifications such as CFA, FRM, or RMA CRC are a plus. Experience: 3+ years of experience in financial institutions, consulting, or regulatory roles. Experience in model risk management, model development, validation, and performance monitoring. Technical Skills: Familiarity with regulatory guidance (e.g., SR 11-7, OCC 2011-12, FDIC FIL-22-2017). Proficiency with credit risk models and other model types, including ALM and pricing models. Understanding of back-testing, stress testing, sensitivity testing, and benchmarking. Experience with statistical tools (e.g., Python, R, SAS, Matlab, Stata) and database management (e.g., SQL). Knowledge of data visualization tools like Power BI and Tableau is preferred. Professional Skills: Strong analytical skills and attention to detail. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Team-oriented mindset with the ability to work independently when required. Effective time management skills to prioritize and meet deadlines.,
