Roles and Responsibilities :- 5+ years of experience with ELK Stack (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana).- Design, implement, and manage distributed and scalable ELK Stack solutions on on-Prem, ensuring high availability and performance.- Develop and maintain custom scripts for Elasticsearch API interactions to optimize data ingestion, analysis, and management processes.- Good understanding to data migration techniques as we are expecting data handling of 90TB with new infrastructure.- Lead the migration of legacy systems to advanced ELK Stack solutions, ensuring data integrity, enhanced performance, and scalability.- Collaborate across teams to develop search and analytics capabilities, integrating with databases with Elasticsearch.- Manage rolling upgrades and versioning for Elasticsearch clusters with minimal downtime, addressing deprecated features and ensuring backward compatibility.- Implement end-to-end monitoring and logging solutions, using Elasticsearch and Kibana for operational insights and log analysis.- Optimize resources for cost-effective Elasticsearch cluster deployment, maintaining high availability and performance.- Extensive experience and managing large-scale distributed search systems on on-Prem and Cloud.- Strong scripting skills for Elasticsearch API, with experience in Python, Bash, or other scripting languages.- Proven expertise in designing search architectures and performing large-scale data migrations from legacy systems.- Experience with Splunk and other monitoring tools for cross-platform log aggregation and system observability.- Excellent communication skills with experience collaborating across multiple teams and product verticals.- Expertise in troubleshooting, problem-solving, and optimizing system performance in cloud environments.
Primary skill : ELK Stack (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana)Basic Qualifications :- Bachelor's degree complete (or in progress) preferably in applied mathematics, statistics, computer science, data science, electrical engineering, physics, or closely related field- Experience with scripting languages like Python, Bash, Powershell, R- Demonstrated ability to investigate data and present findings to internal teammates and client audiences.- Desired familiarity with the Elastic Cloud Computer (ECE) and Elastic Cloud on Kubernetes (ECK) platforms- Experience in conducting assessments of an Enterprise by reviewing technical documentation, conducting interviews and workshops to identify gaps and develop a tailored solution is highly desired
