QA Engineer @ Export Genius

Job Description

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled QA Engineer to join our team, responsible for ensuring the quality, performance, and scalability of our data intelligence platforms. You will work with cross-functional teams to test platform releases, focusing on both manual and automated testing across multiple data modules, including trade dashboards, sanctions, and contact intelligence tools.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manual Testing: Execute regression, exploratory, and cross-device/browser testing to identify issues early.
• Automation: Develop and maintain automated test scripts using Selenium and TestNG.
• Performance Testing: Conduct load and stress testing with JMeter to validate platform scalability.
• API Testing: Test REST and GraphQL APIs using Postman.
• Security Testing: Perform penetration testing using OWASP and Burp Suite.
• Collaboration: Participate in Agile ceremonies and work with DevOps and Security teams on deployment and compliance testing.
• Bug Reporting: Use JIRA to report, track, and ensure timely resolution of defects.

Required Skills & Tools:

• Strong manual testing experience with web-based data platforms.
• Proficiency in Selenium, TestNG, Postman, JMeter, OWASP, and Burp Suite.
• Experience with Python for test automation.
• Solid understanding of QA methodologies, Agile, and CI/CD workflows.
• Proficiency in JIRA, Confluence, and Git.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in SaaS platforms and domains like trade intelligence, compliance, or financial data.
• SQL for backend testing and data validation.
• Familiarity with BDD frameworks (Cucumber/Gherkin).
• ISTQB or equivalent certifications.
