Position- Consultant SAP(FICO)
Location: Chennai
Qualification- 3+ years experience, ICWA
Job description:
- Configure and customize SAP FICO modules to meet business requirements.
- Develop functional specifications for custom reports, enhancements, and interfaces.
- Conduct detailed analysis of business processes to identify opportunities for improvement.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand their requirements and translate them into SAP FICO solutions.
- Provide day-to-day support for SAP FICO modules, addressing any issues that arise.
- Perform system configuration, testing, and troubleshooting.
- Conduct root cause analysis for recurring issues and implement long-term solutions.
- Develop and deliver training materials for end-users.
- Document configuration and functional specifications.
- Provide ongoing support and training to users to ensure optimal use of SAP FICO modules.
- Ensure that financial and cost accounting processes comply with relevant standards and regulations.
- Generate and review financial reports to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Implement and monitor internal controls to safeguard assets and ensure data integrity.
- Plan and manage SAP FICO projects, ensuring they are delivered on time and within budget.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of SAP modules.
- Monitor project progress and report on key metrics to stakeholders.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest SAP FICO trends and technologies.
- Identify and recommend improvements to SAP FICO processes and functionalities.
- Lead initiatives to enhance system performance and user experience.
Preferred candidates:
- Bachelors degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- ICMA (Institute of Cost and Works Accountants) qualification.
- 3+ years of experience in SAP FICO module implementation and support.
- Strong understanding of financial and cost accounting principles.
- Proven experience in managing SAP FICO projects.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
